Omfg i caught up too quickly through all those 4 seasons. I hate 5 min episodes with passion but I'm too invested in this shit now, fuck i hate myself.

thats what puts a lot of people off of chinese donghua anime's, thankfully there are some videos flying around that have combined all of the episodes into one video per season.

Yeah that's what I did, foolishly thinking "hey, surely they realized by now that 20 min eps are way to go, right?" like a dumbass. I love this story but man i hate this formula.

i think its more to do with screen time because those 15-20 min episodes only appear once a week whereas the 5-7 min episodes are aired twice a week. Personally, I dont mind it but I've seen a lot of people dismiss them because of the length.
